Training days and conferences
|I have given the keynote speech to several conferences in recent years. I seek to engage people through stories and provoke thought about how our precious work as educators can flourish in our times. The aim is always to move from inspiration towards application in the real context and leave people with a strong sense of their own practical way ahead.
Themes I have used for Keynotes and Conference days include ‘Discipline for Learning and Growth’, ‘Love and Fear in the Post-modern School’, ‘What is learning power and how can I have more of it?’ and ‘How to become a Values-based School?’

Stimulating and thought-provoking! I feel that as a whole staff there would be no problem with implementation. Tim is highly erudite and this course has been a pleasure and hopefully life changing. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the Learning to Learn training day yesterday. I found the day to be interesting as well as informative. The agenda ensured that the day was fast paced, enjoyable and pertinent to each member of the staff who attended. I felt that one of the most motivating aspects… was hearing the teachers talking about learning. It is so easy to forget… Once again, thank you.
